The trailer of Ishqa Ishqa is finally out, and this one promises to take the idea of love into a much darker and more complicated space. Dropping the trailer, MX Player by Prime Video teased fans with the caption, “I dare you, iss ishq ki deewangi dekhna mat bhoolna, Watch #IshqaIshqa, Oct 7, for free, on Prime Video”. Starring Helly Shah, Satyajeet Dubey and Anushka Kaushik, the upcoming romantic thriller appears to explore what happens when love slowly crosses the line into obsession and control.
At the centre of the story is Kabir, played by Satyajeet Dubey, a writer whose personal life gets complicated when two very different relationships collide. Suhani, portrayed by Anushka Kaushik, represents stability, trust and a more grounded relationship, while Arohi, played by Helly Shah, brings an intense emotional history that Kabir cannot simply leave behind. The trailer sets up an intriguing emotional triangle where choosing between love and peace may not be as simple as it sounds.
Helly Shah appears to be stepping into a strikingly different space as Arohi, a woman whose feelings for Kabir seem to go far beyond ordinary affection. Her character is possessive, intense and deeply invested in keeping Kabir close. As the trailer unfolds, her idea of love begins to blur with control, creating an increasingly unsettling situation.
